Maths3D is free for individual students and home users - no login, no paywall, no credit card. If your school uses Maths3D, we ask for a small contribution to keep it running for everyone. This page explains what you're agreeing to and what we charge.
If you find Maths3D useful, a small donation is appreciated but never required.
Commercial users (tutoring centres, publishers, platforms) are required to hold a licence. Get in touch for a quote.
By accessing or using Maths3D, you agree to the following terms. If you are using Maths3D on behalf of a school or organisation, these terms apply to that institution.
Individual students, parents, and tutors may use Maths3D free of charge for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. No registration is required. Progress is stored only in your own browser's localStorage - nothing is transmitted to our servers.
Schools, kura, tutoring centres, and any organisation using Maths3D as part of structured teaching or commercial activity are required to hold a current school licence. A licence covers all students at that institution for one academic year. Continued use without a licence constitutes a breach of these terms.
To obtain a licence, contact us. School purchase orders are accepted.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, embed in another platform, or pass off Maths3D content as your own. You may not attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically download exercise content, 3D scenes, or question banks. You may not remove or circumvent the domain lock or watermarking.
Maths3D exercises are designed to support curriculum learning and are checked for mathematical accuracy. However, Maths3D is provided as-is and is not a substitute for qualified teaching. We accept no liability for errors or learning outcomes.
All Maths3D content - including 3D scene geometry, exercise questions, worked solutions, question banks, and the campus map - is the intellectual property of Maths3D and its creators. The school campus module (Module 3) is produced under a bespoke agreement and its geometry is proprietary.
The Maths3D name, logo, and branding are not to be used without written permission.
The underlying Three.js library is used under the MIT licence. All other code is proprietary.
Maths3D stores your exercise progress, XP, streak, and country preference in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not collect personal information from individual users.
If you submit a contact form, your name, email, and message are received via Netlify Forms and stored securely. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or share your contact details with third parties.
We may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (such as Netlify Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
